Definition: (dry hire)

The hire of equipment  without any accompanying operators or staff.

Procedure: (new customers)

New clients wishing to dry hire equipment from us will have to be screened and accredited beforehand. Please contact the office and submit a copy of your ID book and we will send you relevant documents to open an account. Permission to proceed with a standard background check is needed. Trade references might also be needed. Management reserves the right to determine what type of item (s) and of what value they feel is suitable to which particular customer.

NB: Similar to the banking industry, we ultimately deal with individuals and not organizations therefore personal accountability applies.

1) Insurance (dry hire)
NB: Equipment rented from us without personnel to operate excludes any option of insurance and therefore the following will apply:

a)    The client is to provide full accountability against losses/ damages to the equipment supplied and it is advised to source your own insurance.
b)    You will be held personally responsible and it will be expected of you to pay for any repairs/ losses incurred. (From whatever reasons/ circumstances)
c)    If this does not suite your requirements kindly change your option to conventional rental whereby we provide staff, logistics and full insurance including public Liability (R20 Million) and employers Liability, workmen's comp, etc

2)    Payment. A Deposit is payable upon confirmation of an agreement to secure equipment. Generally the balance is required 72 hrs before the show day. 

3)    Confirmation. An agreement will only be confirmed and accepted as a booking on our receiving of an official company order and deposit or alternatively, full payment.

4)    Cancellations/ refunds. A cancellation of the  agreement by you, whatever the reasons, will forfeit your deposit. If the event is postponed or cancelled between 72hrs and 24 hrs hours of the show’s starting time, then you will be liable to pay 75% of the total service fee (please note that this includes all causes/ circumstances) If the event is postponed or cancelled within 24 hrs hours of the starting time, then a 100% service fee will apply. If you find that the service is dissatisfactory in any manner, we are open to negotiation regarding a discount or a credit on your account.

5)    Validity: Usually offers are valid for 10-days and are subject to availability.The price may also change if confirmation is not made in time due to possible scarcity of crew/ equipment and increased difficulty and risk to accommodate late bookings. We therefore encourage early confirmations
